In Kherson, fieldworks began in February

Due to the warm weather in early February, farmers in the Kherson region were able to to start works very early.

Farmers have already fully enriched the winter crops, harrowed the wheat fields and now they are preparing to sow late spring crops. About it reports «Ukrainian South».

The fall of 2019, was dry, so winter crops were sowed in dry soil. The warm winter without frost helped to preserve them. However, the cold has not wiped out most diseases and pests, as is usual, and by the beginning of a very warm March, they have already intensified. An extremely important period has begun: it is necessary to carry out the sowing and care of winter crops quickly and in a qualitative way. Action must be taken as soon as possible to get a good harvest.
