Labor migrants will remain working

Agrarians in Poland have asked the government to allow Ukrainian workers with expired documents to stay on their farms.

About it reports a news agency Competitor.

A letter from representatives of the Polish Union of Farmers' Unions and Agricultural Organizations states that, under the current conditions, border closures and restrictions on relocation they cannot employ other workers from Ukraine.

"The sudden shortage of workers will cause the collapse of many sectors of our economy and can significantly complicate the support of the food supply chain to other European countries," - said Polish farmers in the letter.

We recall that on March 16, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawetski noted that the country's leaders are keen to help entrepreneurs and will support them.
