Ukraine Increases Honey Export Volumes to 55 Thousand Tons

In 2023, Ukraine exported nearly 55 thousand tons of honey worth a total of $121 million, which is a 14% increase in volume compared to the previous year and a 12% decrease in financial terms (in 2022, the export was 48 thousand tons worth $137 million).

According to the report, honey exports in December decreased to 5.8 thousand tons, which is 8% less compared to November, but 41% more than in December of the previous year.

The financial volume of exports in December reached $11.3 million.

The average price of exported honey, after a significant drop throughout the year, remained relatively stable in the last few months. In December, the average price was $1.95 per kg, in November - $2 per kg, while in the first quarter of 2023, it was $2.65 per kg.
