Unfortunately, theft of fuel at various enterprises is very common. A specialist in the diagnosis of motion of the fuel told how to prevent the cases of the drain. He gave tips on how to prevent this and also talked about the most popular fraud schemes.
If the vehicles are not equipped with an online system to monitor fuel meters and other performance indicators, employees can use one of the fraud schemes. Let's look at the example:
Thus, each of the first two tractors "flipped" on the third 20 liters of fuel. The counters will show that all the data have converged.
Using this scheme, the driver simply does not completely tighten the sealing, leaving the backlash. Then in the field, he opens the tank cover and drains the fuel. After that, he tightens the lid and the seal. Then the engineer may claim that he was unable to drain the fuel because the seal was in place.
This is about stealing fuel from vehicles that have DRP and GPS systems. To open the tank, make a U-turn, or enter the curb. Then the hose is inserted into the tank, and as soon as the liquid begins to drain, they leave. As a result, we observe fuel fluctuations and it is difficult for the system to determine if there is a downpour. You can assign up to 5 liters of fuel this way and stay unnoticed.
Often they simply do not fill the tank with the last liters, putting the tractor on a tilt. The DRP is centered, so it shows that the tank is full.
It is almost never sealed and the security service rarely pays attention to this detail. However, you can drain the fuel through it (but slowly) - up to one liter in a minute. That is why the separator has to be also sealed - so you can avoid losses.
This theft of fuel is committed in movement. To do this, we connect the T-branch into the reverse circuit of the system and open the tap during the movement. It allows the fuel to flow into the tank. So it is possible to merge up to 6 liters. This variant of a drain is extended on domestic-produced vehicles, because of high prices for reparation of the foreign ones.
Keep in mind that fuel can be stolen through unsealed cranes as well as from refuelers. Therefore, it is necessary to control the fuel level not only by the meter but also through regular inspections and the installation of the DRP.
